We’ve been on IMVU for awhile now. In our time, we’ve tried engaging with the IMVU Community with helpful forum posts and by creating blogs to help newcomers. But as someone who’s been around, we’ve experience a ton of hatred and biased-treatment. Not just within chat-rooms, but even on the forums with experienced mods and IMVU employees.
We’re not calling out any names, as we have respect for others. But there are plenty of IMVU forumers who link off-site. Why is it that only certain members can link off-site? All our links to IMVU Guide were removed. Then we were threatened to be banned by forum moderators. Their actions were ignored by IMVU employees.
It didn’t end there. Our community group to IMVU Guide was randomly deleted. We weren’t told the specifics on why it was deleted. We were simply told that it broke TOS. There are thousands of groups created for their off-site communities. Why is it that ours was being singled out and deleted? IMVU had no say on the matter. They let the forum moderators do as they wish.
In IMVU, the biggest websites control a majority of the off-site IMVU traffic. These sites are all affiliated with moderators or IMVU employees. There is money involved, along with gifting and promoting for each other’s products and services. IMVU Guide is the black sheep. We won’t be permitted to creating groups or posting links. But they can’t stop us. We believe that those with good content WILL be rewarded. We believe that what goes around comes around. We’ll make sure they get what’s coming to them.
IMVU Guide is dedicated to creating helpful and creative content. We make our posts for you. Remember to bookmark our site and come back daily.
